Why do you need Teak Shield?
Teak Shield is based on water-soluble substances, is solvent-free, and protects your teak furniture against food and drink stains. It is an almost invisible impregnation that makes it very difficult for wine, olive oil, butter, coffee, etc., to penetrate the wood, so you can simply wipe away residues with a damp cloth after a meal. For this reason, Teak Shield is also perfectly suited for indoor use.
How to use Teak Shield?
- When using Teak Shield, wear eye protection and rubber gloves. Also, cover the floor of your work area beforehand.
- Before using Teak Shield on new teak, you should first expose the furniture to the weather for 1 to 2 weeks.
- Teak wood that has turned dark gray must first be cleaned with Teak Cleaner.
- Allow the wood to dry 100%.
- Shake Teak Shield for at least one minute before use. Then apply a thin layer of Teak Shield with a soft cloth.
- After a drying time of 4 hours, apply a second coat.
- After 48 hours of complete drying, the wood can be exposed to moisture again.
- We recommend treating teak furniture with Teak Shield at least annually. Tabletops should be treated more frequently.

This is the ideal option for products with low weight and compact dimensions. If you order smaller items that fit comfortably into standard packaging, you can expect a delivery time of 2-3 working days. -
Freight forwarding (4-7 working days):
Larger or bulky products require our freight forwarding delivery. Here, the estimated delivery time is usually 4-7 working days from the order date. This method allows for the safe transport of heavy or bulky items.
Austria & Luxembourg:
- Parcel service (3-5 working days): This is the ideal option for products with low weight and compact dimensions. If you order smaller items that fit comfortably into standard packaging, you can expect a delivery time of 3-5 working days.
- Freight forwarding (7-10 working days): Larger or bulky products require our freight forwarding delivery. Here, the estimated delivery time is usually 7-10 working days from the order date. This method allows for the safe transport of heavy or bulky items.
