Why do you need Teak Shield?

Based on water-soluble substances and solvent-free, Teak Shield protects your teak furniture against food and drink stains. It's a virtually invisible impregnation that makes it very difficult for wine, olive oil, butter, coffee, etc. to penetrate the wood, allowing you to simply wipe away the residue with a damp cloth after a meal. For this reason, Teak Shield is also ideal for indoor use.

How is Teak Shield used?

Wear eye protection and rubber gloves when using Teak Shield. Also, cover the floor of your work area beforehand.
Before using the Teak Shield on new teak, you should first expose the furniture to the weather for 1 to 2 weeks.
Teak wood that has turned dark grey must first be cleaned with Teak Cleaner.
Allow the wood to dry completely.
Shake Teak Shield for at least one minute before use. Then apply a thin layer of Teak Shield with a soft cloth.
After a drying time of 4 hours, apply a second coat.
After 48 hours of drying, the wood can be exposed to moisture again.
We recommend treating teak furniture with Teak Shield at least annually. Table tops at shorter intervals.
