You will receive the Teak Protector in either a 1 liter or 3 liter bottle along with an applicator cloth.

Why do you need the Teak Protector?

A special composition allows the protection and preservation of the natural base color for a long time:

Lasts more than 4 times longer than teak oil
Lasts more than twice as long as teak sealer

But there are other reasons why we consider our protector better than the products mentioned above:

1. It is environmentally friendly due to its 100% water solubility
2. Teak wood does not become as dark or reddish over time as conventional products
3. It is very easy and quick to apply
4. It is neither oily nor greasy, so no lasting problems with textiles
5. The wood absorbs the care product completely, no wiping is necessary
6. No mold growth and prevents black spots in teak
7. Unlike other products, it is non-flammable

How is the Teak Protector used?

1. Wear eye protection and rubber gloves when using Teak Protector. Also, cover the floor of your work area beforehand.
2. Teak wood that has turned grey must first be cleaned with teak cleaner.
3. If the cleaned wood feels rough, sand it lightly before treating it with Teak Protector. The wood must be completely dry and dust-free.
4. New teak wood: Leave it outdoors for one week before treatment.
5. Stir and shake Teak Protector well for at least one minute before use. Failure to shake the product sufficiently may result in uneven discoloration.
6. We recommend that you first try Teak Protector on a small, inconspicuous area (e.g. on the back of a table or chair leg) and then check whether you like the color.
7. Apply a very thin layer of Teak Protector evenly using a dust-free cloth. After a drying time of approximately 30 minutes, apply a second very thin layer.
8. It is recommended to treat your teak furniture with Teak Protector at least once a year.
