Due to these amazing properties, it is even used in architecture and construction.

Naturally, all other components used are also weather-resistant and perfectly suited for outdoor use:

Stability and lightness

The weather-resistant and extremely durable plantation teak and the rust-free stainless steel used guarantee many years of stability. The Batyline^® synthetic fabric provides appropriate lightness despite the size of the chair. At just under 11kg, this truly large chair weighs only about as much as a small folding chair.

Weather resistance

Only Batyline^® is used for the fabric covering of the Rivera collection. This is an air-permeable, hard-wearing and easy-care fibre, which is manufactured using the exclusive Ferrari^® Précontraint^® technology. Due to its open-pore structure, the fabric dries very quickly. The fabric can be left outdoors without the risk of mildew formation. Dirt can be easily removed with soapy water or our Batyline^® Cleaner. Long-lasting UV resistance is as characteristic of this fabric as its lightfastness.

All other materials used are - as with all our furniture - naturally weather-resistant:

the best quality plantation teak, the stainless steel fittings and braces, and the aluminum strips for tensioning and holding the fabric.
